TŶ ABERDAFEN, LLANELLI, SOUTH WALES
Through the use of a competitively tendered Design & Build Contract we, as the Employer's Agent, delivered a 24 bed care home for brain injury rehabilitation to our Client using a timber frame construction method. The scheme achieved an ‘Excellent’ BREEAM rating and gained the approval of the Commission for Social Care Inspection.

CHALKDOWN HOUSE, DORCAN WAY, SWINDON
Due to our successful a relationship with a repeat client in this field, we were appointed as the ‘Client Representative’ on a Development Agreement, within which they were not able to appoint the Employers Agent. By looking after our Client's interest, and working closely with the EA, this 24-bed Care Home for brain injury rehabilitation was a success despite the issues caused by contractor insolvency.

OSMAN HOUSE, SCHOLES, LEEDS
This project involved our Client's acquisition of a property neighbouring their existing Care Home for brain injury rehabilitation, the demolition of the neighbouring house and the construction a large 8 bedroom, fully integrated extension to their existing asset. This was procured using a competitive Design & Build Tender, and at the time of writing has just commenced on site.

DYSONS WOOD, TOKERS GREEN, READING
Our client engaged Drake & Reynolds to assess their options in terms of their current Care Home for Autism that was within a refurbished country home estate. It was clear from our investigations, that the current property was not suitable for its use and therefore Planning Consent was obtained to demolish the existing home and construct two new 4 bedroom bungalows with ancillary areas. Also included within the contract package was the complete refurbishment of the adjacent single storey annex.

KENT HOUSE, AYLESBURY
Using a JCT Minor Works Contract we were tasked with providing an extension to the existing Care Home, with very tight time constraints. Through a competitive tender the extension was provided whilst the Care Home remained in operation. The timescales were met and the Summer Room was complete in time for Christmas.
